Subaru has unveiled a striking yet practical concept car at the 2018 Geneva motor show - the Viziv Tourer.

Unsurprisingly, the Viziv Tourer concept features a boxer engine and the company's Symmetrical all-wheel drive system, both traditional Subaru hallmarks.

Clarkson would have no problem making fun of the car if it improved ratings.

C'mon, filling the car with lawyers who derail JC's things he didn't like about the car was hilarious. Coincidentally, the time they posted was for a Bugatti and it was close to the Tesla/Ford time. The GT guys have been pretty anti-electric up until now. Their reviews of the Leaf and BMW i3 were basically making fun of both cars. Tesla needed the time to mature into what they are now. So the extra time allowed for the GT guys to see the market is moving into electrics and allowed for the positive review Tesla received this time. I agree they are coming around on electrics. For telling their stories and having fun the power train for the cars they use is meaningless. Geez, Ferrari is working on an electric. I really hope Tesla steps up and makes that a good track car. I agree they are coming around on electrics. For telling their stories and having fun the power train for the cars they use is meaningless. Tesla's action made Tesla unlovable for them, at least temporarily.

3 new Audi e-tron electric cars by 2020, but combustion engines still unbeatable

Audi will go on an electric vehicle offensive over the next few years, with three electric vehicles due by 2020 and plans for at least one fully or partially electric car per year thereafter, most based on existing product lines. The concept also used the electric compressor technology seen in the Audi SQ7 , a car already using Audi's 48v system.

Which is not to say flying cars aren't having a moment. At least 19 companies are developing flying-car plans. The company predicts a one-and-a-half hour car journey from LAX to the Staples Center could take less than 30 minutes using a combination of flying cars and regular cars.

There are plenty of skeptics that say flying cars, especially electric-powered aircraft, aren't worth pursuing. They wonder if the economics work, or if passengers would balk at getting on board a self-flying vehicle. Electric, autonomous aircraft buzzing from rooftop to rooftop.

Rimac Automobili will release its second electric hypercar, inventively named Concept Two, at the Geneva motor show in March...

After a few months of teasing, Rimac has finally unveiled its latest all-electric hypercar with specs just as crazy as Tesla's new Roadster.

After launching its first all-electric car, the I-Pace, last week, Jaguar now confirms US pricing for the new vehicle.

Here's something you don't see every day: an electric autonomous rideshare concept car from a major automaker. Porsche claims that the car will have 600 horsepower, do 0-60 in under 3.5 seconds, go more than 500km/310 miles on a charge, and charge at a rate of 400km/250 miles in 15 minutes.
